Welcome to h2g2. I'm Dastardly, a guardian angel, which means it's my job to make sure people have a nice time here. Which is a pretty good job, though unfortunately unpaid. You seem to have loads of conversations on your page, which is great, so I don't suppose you'll need much help.
You've already been visited by an ACE, Mina, so I don't need to explain what they do. However, there are some other people here to help.
Guardian angels like me are here to 'adopt' people- anyone who feels that they could do with someone to look after them around here. We also try to make new researchers feel welcome, so if you need help just ask.
