I make it my job to seek out and find other Geminis. It's nice to meet you.

Hi Mina, nice to meet you. I like meeting other Geminis too. I wonder if there's a preponderance of air signs in here (up in the universe in our heads and all that)?
Thanks for your message and your help.
Regards,
Grime

I think most air signs will have a lot of trouble deciding what user name to use, so would be hanging around in cyber-confusion for ages before posting anything.

Good point. I change my mind - and my Introductilon - all the time, hence my question elsewhere about changing conversational contributions!

Aha, that explains it. I usually use the preview button a lot, to make sure I really want to say what I'm saying. Then at least I geta chance to change it before it goes. Luckily I haven't regretted anything I've said here, although I make it a point of my life not to regret things I have done, only things I haven't.

Trouble is, I use the preview button a lot too, but I still continue to change my mind.
Nice philosophy of life you've got there, but mine's slightly different. I regret everything, so I don't regret missing anything out.

I regret everything, in case something slips by and I regret not having regretted it???

I'm not really here Posted Aug 14, 2001
I think I understand now. So you regret everything. Just in case you do something that you want to regret, and forget to regret it?
Welcome to h2g2...
Grimethorpe2k1 Posted Aug 14, 2001
That's it. If I forgot to regret something, then I'd really regret it!

[ time warp of me having to go out in this ghastly heat disappears ]
Oh, y'know, this n that, doing stuff, regretting stuff......How about you?

Lying about in the sun, thinking I should be doing something. Coming onto h2g2 to get out of the heat and then going back out again. Meeting a new neighbour and being baffled by her saying she had a 'feeling' about me as she's a bit phsycic.

Wow, sounds really hoopy, y'know?
Don't get too much sun, though. Hope you're wearing protection, (no lewd joke intended, unlike a certain ad you might have seen).

No, I haven't got sun cream on, as I don't go out long enough to get burnt, and I already have a nice tan to protect me. I might go out again in a minute, to top up my front half. Haven't done that today.

Grimethorpe2k1 Posted Aug 15, 2001
Hope you're getting nice 'n tanned.
Sorry about ( I regret ) my previous message, which looks a bit 'rude' now, though it certainly wasn't meant to be.

No need to regret it, I wasn't bothered in the least, protection is a good thing, in whatever way it is applied.
Yes, I went a bit browner I think. (well, my white bits look whiter, anyway.) It's too hot to go outside today, so I'm staying in and writing another page for my project. Have you thought about writing any entries for the guide?

Hi,
Yes, I did write something, on Alternative Answers to the Ultimate Question - the link to it's in my Introduction. Hope you enjoy it, and any feedback is welcome. It's been received with a deafening silence so far!

'Apparently...'
That's great, just what I wanted. Apart from people telling me how good my article was before I get them thrown off the ship...
