Hi there Casanunder

I was about to greet a fellow Pratchett-fan, and then you spoil it all by talking about the Hitchhikers' Guide! (I love that too, just prefer Pratchett...*shhhh*!)

Welcome to h2g2; it is a strange and bizarre and very compelling place.

There are a number of volunteer researchers who go around welcoming new researchers to the site, giving them links to various pages, and generally offering to help.

I am not one of them! smiley - cool

However, I am always willing to help. Click on my name at the top of this post and drop me a line at the bottom of my personal space.

In the meantime: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/info tells you what the current conversations are; http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/A155909 tells you how to make smileys. (And we have some useful ones: smiley - ale <cheeers&gtsmiley - winkeye.

Take your time to look around, there is far more to hootoo than meets the eye!

All the best

a girl called Ben
