I just saw your question about 'New Novel' over at the h2g2 Feedback!

Try clicking on the 'Contribute' button - you'll find a lot of useful information there!

If you're eager to start writing right away, just click on 'Add Guide Entry' - if you use 'Plain text' you can just copy and paste your text.

Thank you Kristina...the copyright rules b****r up my idea of working on-line with this novel...shame..would have been fun eh? Thanx for the advice...now its back back to work to get some real contributions up and online...!

If you'd still like comments from the people here at h2g2, you could always post it somewhere else, and then put the URL on your user page, mentioning you'd like people to read and comment it.

And then, to let people know about it, you could add something to your researcher name: 'Jack T. Ladd, writing novel, help wanted, see my page for details!' or something like that.

Thank you again Kristina, are all the angels as wonderful as you? What a nice thought..but, as any hopeful budding writer will tell you..to get published is the game, sad hope, or whatever..but..if it appears in any shape or form on the net..then you can wave bye-bye to any dreams at all..

Sorry to hear about the publishing/copyright problems (no, I'm not much of a writer myself - can you tell?)

But maybe you'd like to practise your writing skills by writing a Guide Entry about something completely different? How about that?

Or maybe just be happy 'mingling' in various conversations - I know that's what I do most of the time!

I've contributed to two edited entries (just a little bit) and written one entry myself, and put up another entry for Peer Review a couple of days ago, and then I've been working an an entry for almost a year now, but when I look at the heap of research material I've gathered it just feels too overwhelming - maybe I'll finish it next year!

I stand back in awe...so much time and effort.and do you do work also in the real life too?

Just got a mail telling me I've been mentioned as one of the contributors of yet another edited entry - amazing!

- or possibly the fact that I've been a researcher for more than a year now - it would be more surprising if I HADN'T managed to get involved in an entry or two!
