I once forgot my towel, it was messy and not a good experience believe me! I was staggered to find out, through travels, that the aussie beach towel is actually the largest beach towel in the world, on average! We always do this stuff right!
How can someone live in our great southern land and not own a bike eh? it's almost criminal.

Yeah there's some great riding to be had here, and you can do it ALL of the year round too
Motorcycles should be compulsory from 16-19 then you may contemplate getting a cage if you find you're not up to riding...at least that way every driver would have first hand experience of riding, and every half-blind grandmother would be more careful, cause it might be one of 'her little darlings' she's about to wipe-out.
Nice to hear from you MH.
Maybe we got the biggest towels cause we got the biggest beach...goes all the way round our lovely island

Damn straight! I get a little flack for saying how our sunburnt country is better than everywhere else, but it's true!
I get the feeling sometimes that rear vision mirrors on cars should be the size of a full length dressing mirrors, maybe then people would notice what was in them eh?

Nah then we'd have people driving around admiring themselves and watching the road even less than they do now...
What we really need is some pro-active Motorcycle Malitia Men armed to the teeth and loaded with attitude. Anyone who goes to the RTA for a car licence gets a "severe talking-to" any caught actually driving a car gets shot! Oh what a dreamer I am

It's all easy really, designated bike lanes like the Autobahns in Germany, no speed limits to get in the way of good riding and no cars to cause the accidents. As an experiment a few years back I stuck on of those big red flags on my motor, y'know the kind that kids put on their bikes to be visable. Anyway it made no difference, it's not that they don't see us, it's that they won't!
