I think the whole thing's really great. So good in fact that I told my best friend and she's joined too. I just posted a message to someone which I was quite nevous about doing as I have not initiated contact before. Guess what? I messed up and posted it twice. It wasn't really my fault, I have a duff mouse button. I just hope I don't tick anyone off!

Not quite sure what you mean by page number. If you mean the number under the heading most recent guide entrys it's A602579 if I am wrong please explain where the page numbers are (I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and probably won't find them on my own). That's the adress if it helps any http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U181540. Her name is Chapter you can find her on the list of new researchers if all else fails and you can still be bothered.
Hello
TIMELORD Posted Aug 1, 2001
I have found her and said hello by user number i mean the number after /u mine is u/111881 yours is u/181481 and Douglas adams was /u42
if the number is /a then it is an article as apposed to a user.

Thanks for the info. I'm really glad I joined this site, I was a little worried when I first joined coz I thought it might be like the Yahoo chat thing which I just can't get the hang of and scares the heck out of me. But you've been really nice to me answering my silly questions and making me feel welcome. Thanks! Just read your sylvester Mc coy interview. He was the Doctor when I was a kid so naturally he's my favoret Doctor. I always liked his side-kick Ace. I always wanted to be her!

I saw her just after the show finished we were trying to get an interview with her put could not get one
I think that actresses are harder to to interview as they have guards with them most of the time we did get an interview with Nicola Bryant(peri)It was our first interview but not one of the best she was in a hurry and give short answers. Now the David Banks interview Is a good one and that might be in the POST* soon as i have sent it to Shazz who is the editor and she is going to type it up for me.
*THE POST is h2g2's newspaper
David Banks step into Jon Pertwees role as the doctor in the stage play but on tv he played the cyberleader(the cyberman with a black headband)we interviewed him when he was doing the play.
And one more thing you are welcome here.

TIMELORD, you should be an ACE...
Anyway, I want to add my "official" (whatever that means) welcome to TIMELORD's; my name is Amy and I'm an ACE, or assistant community editor, here at the Guide. We run around, sometimes in circles, welcoming new researchers and helping everyone with what we can, or at least point them in the right direction. You seem to have found your way around pretty well, but if there's anything you need just lemme know. I hope you enjoy your time here-- see you around.

Just been reading about the Zaphodista Army of Cybernautic Liberation. I noticed it when I was looking though the h2g2 clubs section and remembered it was part of your name. I haven’t had a chance to read all the stuff yet but what I have read sounds sensible. I was surprised when I read the house rules that one was no swearing, practically every site on the net I've been to has some form of swearing on (maybe that's just the sites I visit though!). There was at lot on there about URL's. What does it stand for? Is it Un-Reliable Link? Coz that's all I could think of, unless it stands for Umbrella's Really Leak, or Useless Railway Line but I can't see how either of these relates to the internet.

I am not sure what u.r.l. stands for but it does mean links you can still post them from your homepage but not from conversations like this.
Amy hello there i thought about being an ACES but i think that it is nicer to have someone saying hello that is just a regular reseacher(and i am not that good at the technical side like and links )

I'm not so good with the tech stuff either... usually if someone has a problem I send them to a Guru...
URL... probably unknown radial location or unicorns ride low or something ridiculous like that...
