I just saw the nice new sub-editor badge on your page. Congratulations! I'm sure you'll do a great job, and I think it must be great experience for someone who's interested in writing. I'm glad that you are intending to stay here and contribute to the site.

Thanks!

. I just sent in my first subbed entry, and it felt great ! Thing is, I've been busy subbing, not writing - hopefully that will change as I get more familiar with (and better at) my new 'job'.
I used some info from your Ash entry in conversation with my dad the other day. A curiosity question: I know Joyce carried an ashplant walking stick, and yesterday I heard that Sean Lemass did, too. Are ash and ashplant the same thing?
Nice to see you on the Front Page!

Congratulations on seeing your Russian entry on the Front Page. I hope you don't get so busy sub-editing that you haven't time for more entries of your own - that one was really excellent.
I just realised that I never answered your ashplant question ages ago - as far as I know, an ashplant stick is just ordinary ash.

. Thank you! Unfortunately, not busy subbing - busy schooling. Learning a bit, but at this stage mostly learning the exam. Not fun, but necessary.
Thanks for the bit on the ashplant. Not important, but a point of minor interest.
How are you? I'm not much of a socialite these days, for above reason, but I don't want to lose touch with the Guide. Lately I've sort of been editing and rushing out again... Midterm break soon, more time .
Key: Complain about this post
Congratulations!
