Well after a very trying week for many many people I am about to go home before setting out to see a friend for his birthday. Several of us (old university friends) are off for a day trip to France.
That'll be my weekend, I hope yours are safe and as enjoyable as possible.

To France!
Uh... ohhhhhhhhhh... a trip to France eh? I dunno... the lengths you'll go to to avoid spending a weekend in London.
Was it good then? Where did you go? What did you do? Did you bring me back any duty-free?
Other than your weekend, how's things? Hope you're well and happy.

A few froends organised a day trip to Calais. Very much an early start on saturday morning. We then wandered around Calais for the afternoon and tried walking back to the hoverport (with no hovercraft ) That was a bad idea, it's right the other end of the docks to the town Ended up on the next ferry so had to drink for a bit more and then the trains were screwed to get back across Kent to my mates.
I didn't actually get any cheap stuff - I couldn't be bothered carrying it all back. What should I get you so I can forget for next time?
Other than that, things are good. How about you, been up to much?
