Well hello there, Mr or Mrs Crescent. You ask whether I am a palaeontologist or a geologist, and since I am feeling greedy I shall say both. At the moment I specialize in weird 425 million year old fossils but I ain't much of a biologist, so I shall inevitably return to the rocks one day. As for h2g2, I suppose I don't know much about how the site really works, but I won't let that stop me. Do you have any tips on how best to get started? Thanks, MadLiam.

Hee Just Crescent To get started here, as with all sites, is a matter of reading the help, lurking, seeing how things are done, and asking There should be a help button visible from where you are, I would go through that first. It explains a lot of things. Another is just wander the site and watch and read, this is the best way to get a feel for the way to act. As I also said, ask people. Most of the peeps here are friendly, and willing to help I hope this helps, adn if you need anything else, then just yell Until later...
