Yes, a nice wholemeal loaf.
One of these days I'm going to have to learn to bake bread. I can only go so far with (admittedly rather-excellent) scones and cakes.

I know there's a lot of kneading and hand-mixing (which is rather sticky, as I'm sure you know) and leaving-it-about-for-ages all of which aren't zag-friendly things. But, with bread over £1 a loaf these days...

ok, the waking me up if i am not around part could be interesting though.
and hand kneading bread is fun as long as you dont mind a bit of a messy kitchen
