i hope you're gonna post here on hootoo how much you enjoyed elbow the other night and how wonderful 'asleep at the back' and 'powder blue' was? ... and how they're not a downcast, dreary band? but actually quite funny ... i hope you're going tell them how good it was, in your own beautiful style.

Oh, I'm sure I'll get round to it. I did a wee write-up in my Blog (plug, plug).
They really were good, weren't they and the frontman's between-song banter was great. I'd always thought of them as quite a dreary Radiohead-light band but they plainly ain't no such thing.
