i was asked to write his eulogy and he asked for his last sacriment last saturday...

ought youd like to talk about in relation to that? I've lost both my Grandads and both were real close. I dunno how well I might be able to help, but talking about stuff can in itself help quite alot. Can I ask whats wrong with him?

he has been living the last 3 years with half a heart and a quarter of a lung...

Both my Grandads had severe lung cancer, one of them had had very very bad emphesema, toward the end his lung capacity was so poor he was living off oxygen tanks permanently and couldn't do a thing. But that was the very end, hed managed like that for quite some years and though things were hard he still celebrated life in his own way. Every day is a celebration and testimony. I'm not sure if this is helpful or not, but when suffering is involved is it not better that they meet their joyous reward and are removed from their mortal pains and sufferings? Both mine were suffering for long times in the end and yet they kept on. Only when no more could be done and the body itself had given in did it occur. I cherished each day remember the good times and they shall live forever in your memory.

ew mine got very dilusional towards the end. One was convinced he was back in Poland, the other believed he was in Ireland, it was really very sad, talking at people long since dead and others who could never have gotten there I'm here for you
