G'Day Crescent,
Nice to meet you. Glad my name caused some merriment, it's a name that reminds me of my roots. I now reside downunder, the little island at the bottom to be precise.
catch ya later,
cheers,
Ecky.

G'day Ecky, another Aussie here, resident in Victoria. Just passing, saw your name in the Who's online box and thought I'd check you out.
I hate to be pedantic, but wasn't Ecky Thump pronounced more like Ecky Thoomp (it's been years, I can't really remember).
I'm also after any thoughts you might have for the following article
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A599583
Post any comments to one of the threads at the article itself and I'll see it and more than likely include it in future updates and give a credit.
Have fun.
Thingites Rule!

G'Day EvilRoy,
nice to meet you, and yes you are correct the pronunciation is thoomp or something similar, I suppose I could spell it like that but what the 'eck.
Thanks for the link to the antipodean hang-out I will check it out, likewise the other link you gave me.
catch ya later,
Ecky.
