Most of the time I don't think about the births of my children, even t'Boy's, but there are times when the memory leaps up and gives me a kicking. Today it was the Michael Mosley thing on the BBC - it started with a birth, which made me suddenly cry, and then he was talking about how the baby learns what his mum's face looks like in the first couple of hours after birth - t'Boy didn't see mine in that time. I had a weep into my salad (was cooking dinner) and then moved on again. I wonder if this will happen forever, or if I will ever be able to see births on the telly without turning into a wreck?
