Just to let you know, I can't make the 17th now - I have to go to my parent's house to collect the beasties smiley - dogsmiley - dog

Sorry!

Am not sure a fetish fair meet would be quite my cup of tea either - I'd embarrass myself by gawping too much smiley - winkeye

Will try *very* hard to make the winter meet this year though, if there is nothing else between now and then...

Ah, but that's why we're going!

Seriously we've had to put the visit to the fetish fayre on hold due to most people feeling, well scared, anyway.

What about the 23rd, or will you still have beasties?

I'll still have beasties and I think J will be working again - I wouldn't like to leave them for too long as they can't get out of the house (they are used to having a dog flap at my folks' house).

Am feeling a bit fed up with hootoo atm. I would stay away from the atelier for a while except that I am scribing this damn thread. Am fed up because I feel like I have been lampooned as some over-sensitive PC nut who is more dangerous than GWB for simply stating that I found something distasteful. That seems to be the overwhelming view of the salonistas anyhow. Thanks for stating the case there so eloquently by the way, you put it much better than I could.

Anyway, those beasties need feeding (as does their aunt) and I can smell my vegetable mess starting to burn...

I know the feeling. I'm getting annoyed with people too, I just want to say 'god PCness is only about not offending people, it's hearts in the right place'

Also I've got an exam tomorrow, I'm scared and I'm not enjoying being on my own.. I could do with some support.

It was an interesting debate at first but now it's getting on my nerves.

Do you do MSN btw? would be good to have you on my list (s underscore Makin at hotmail dot com).

Sorry for the delayed reply, was stuffing my face with vegetable mess. Gave a bit to the beasties and one of them had the cheek to give me a *look* that was definitely resentful - as if I'd tried to pass off my veg as some meaty treat. I *told* them it had quorn in it, not my fault they didn't know what quorn was smiley - winkeye

You are having a pretty scarey time all round at the moment aren't you smiley - cuddle How long did you live with A? Place must feel very empty without him. That job thing sounded crazy by the way - how are you supposed to make proper choices if they don't give you all the information? Perhaps the whole thing is a lottery and they just want to make it feel as though you have some power over the outcome? I guess you could exclude places where you definitely don't want to go regardless of the job/pay.

smiley - cuddle again, good luck for tomorrows exam. Have you got many more to come? You seem to be having them every week or so at the moment!

I don't msn, maybe I should?

Hi Kelli,

Thanks for the smiley - hug, offers one back, it was needed.

How could they not know what quorn was? It tastes so much nicer than meat.

I'm keeping myself busy so not missing A too much, well not until now, lets just say my personal life is far from empty at the moment smiley - blush.

The jobs thing isn't too bad, the point is that we're all supposed to be paid about the same for working about the same hours, but if we end up working longer hours, then we're supossed to get compensated for it!

I'm going to go for a sneaky tactic and ask the people currently working at my first choice jobs. It's all very exciting actually, I've made a list of 30 jobs, one I really really really want, and the other I really want. I know I won't be able to drive *before* I start work, and I don't want to move so I'm going for ones within commuting distance that sound fun.

Yes you should do MSN ;-P
I'm
