So, how was the hols?
Didn't get kidnapped by terrorists I see
Any nice surprises of the engagement shaped type from the other half?

Managed to avoid getting blown up, phew!
It was a fantastic holiday, we learned to scuba dive while we were there (passed all the exams and stuff) and had an amazing time swimming with the tropical fish. Wish we had done this years ago! I definitely want to plan more diving holidays - I have finally found a sport I could love, but only in tropical waters (a gravel pit in surrey doesn't have the same appeal)
The diet went to pot a bit - hard for it not to with all that fabulous thai food, and a lot of what we ate was seafood and rice - I put on weight and didn't even eat a single chip! Life is not fair sometimes I did go to the gym in the hotel once, but it was just some weights so not much good - oh well, have alreay been this morning (within 6 hours of getting home!) so hopefully I can undo the damage before the new year, just have to not eat too much over christmas...
Didn't do too much shopping out there but did get a tailor-made suit for my new job - it is fantastic quality and *actually fits me* unlike all my other (too big) suits. It was such a bargin that it was worthwhile - I got much more for my money than I would have if I'd got an M&S one in the sales as I was planning to do.
No proposals, we had a chat about it and he said he could see it happening within the next four years so I will definitely still be single when I hit 30 Never mind, it was great being able to spend so much time together anyway .
Way too many conversations to catch up on (oh yeah, and work) so best go for now
k

Sounds like you had a wonderful time
I love diving too, it's so relaxing isn't it. Actually I've only ever been snorkelling, not proper diving, but same sort of thrill.
Ahh sod the diet, you've earned a little break from it, if you can't relax on holiday there no point going I say!
Tell me, what's the weight loss now? Don't be embarassed, tell uncle Simon.
Good idea about the suit, they have some amazing tailors out there, some guys at work get shirts made out in singapore, the quality is mind blowing and they are so cheap.
Erm, you wont be 'single' when you hit 30, it's only a bit of paper Kelli, if you know it's on the cards, that's a commitment of sorts. Be patient girl, the good things are always worth the wait. And 30 is hardly out to pasture is it!
Nice to have you back. I seem to be spending far far too much time on h2g2 these days. Better get back to working in the new year.
Key: Complain about this post
