If you go back and edit your page it will reappear. If you can do this while I am still online I'll have a look at it and let you know what's up with it. Ready, steady, go!! (Let me know on this thread when you have done it.)
BTW:- Welcome to the Earth Edition of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'm an Assistant Community Editor (ACE) and it's my job to help you settle in and help out in anyway I can. Click the reply button below this post if you'd like to answer, otherwise, enjoy your stay.
You might like to check out http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A559523. It's a page I've written that has some links you might find useful. If you'd like to visit me, click my name at the top of this post and you'll come directly to my personal space.

Hmmm, thanks! Finding this like that takes some alertness and I appreciate the help. I'll do what you suggested, and pop over to those pages in the meantime.
Thanks again,
me.
(er, if you're already here - could you tell me how I write someone, as in a person, directly, and how I submit a guide entry for some sort of review - writer's workshop or whatnot). Thanks

It's probably your use of the words misanthropic b******d. It's in the house rules that we are not allowed naughty words. Try something like git. As that's not so naughty.
When you say how do you write someone, do you mean how can you leave them a message? If you know their user page then you can leave a message there by pressing the 'Discuss this entry' button at the bottom. To get to someone's page, just clck their name wherever you see it as a link, for instance my name at the top of this post.
To submit entries click the contribute button at the top of the page (or side if you are using Goo) and it will have lots of information there. The info you want is probably here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Contribute#contribute

Ugh, more stuff to read. Jeez, aren't they overdoing this whole moderating stuff just a tinny inny bit? Guess I'll have to start misspelling on purpose (I mean, it's worse enough as it is but why the heck not).
And yeah, that's what I meant (messaging). Thanks for your help. Think I'll research that sleep business soon (sounds interesting enough).

Glad to help. Remember, the BBC want everyone to talk like they did when they started. Not properly.
