There's already a lot of good material out there about USENET, but there isn't much that's any use in h2g2, which means that if someone searches h2g2 on that subject they don't get what they're after. This project will provide a concise introduction that enabling the user to understand the main concepts behind USENET, why it differs from web-based systems, why it still exists, why it can be a good thing, and how to find your way around USENET.
