Actually, the moderation concerns an ongoing story I started up recently in the Whose Line is it Anyway? forum.

I'm a first-time offender and I don't know how long these decisions are meant to take to be fair, but it's been about a week now and it has seemed rather a long time over something that as I see it could be resolved quite quickly.

I wrote quite a lengthy bit of continued story and I'm at a loss as to why it has been seized upon. Admittedly, it is very slightly naughty if your mind works in that way (and isn't at all if it doesn't) but it is above all humorous, told in a very light-hearted manner and I there is nothing there that would break the House Rules in my opinion. It was not my intention to cause offence to anybody! I have certainly come across lot more blatantly vulgar things written on h2g2!
I've been racking my brains as to the long hiatus. My worst fear is that some oversensitive soul thought I was being mildly racist in some way. There was a character I introduced with a mock-German name but as I have been unable to explain he is not at all. I was going to reveal the reason for that in my next bit of story - it was just an idea for a bit of parody I'd had to confound people's expectations of racial stereotypes which still appear in the media today.

If the moderators have a problem with any words they can't they just remove them?

If it has been hidden for a while it must be because it contained a foreign language or the moderator thought that it contained words in a foreign language, otherwise it would be back by now...
