Hello Anne, welcome to h2g2! My name's Dr E Vibenstein (but you can call me EV, everyone else does). I'm one of the Assistant Community Editors, so if you need any advice on anything h2g2 related, feel free to ask!
As you may know, before his untimely death Douglas Adams was actively involved with the h2g2 site. If you'd like to pay tribute to the great man, please visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A5932 and leave a message. It would also be a fitting tribute if you could contribute something to the guide - try searching for some topics that interest you, and if there are no current entries on those topics, why not write one? If you're interested, have a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/writing-guidelines for an idea of what we're looking for.
If you want to know more about what you can do now you're an h2g2 researcher, have a look at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Welcome , or if you're just looking for somewhere to go, try the "Read" and "Talk" buttons which will direct you to interesting places. You can also click on the h2g2 logo in the top left corner; this will take you back to the front page, which gets updated daily with all the latest goodies.
By the way, I guess you're not TV's Anne Robinson, as she looks more than 17... not to say that you look old, of course, if you are her... oh dear... is that the time?

Thank you for the resources; they are highly appreciated! And I could only wish that I was the Great Lady.
Funny, I didn't realise anyone had even looked at this page..

You'd be surprised .
Hi Anne, I read one of your conversation postings, and thought I'd pop in and say hello. The more things you post in conversation, the more people are likely to read your page.

I think I was reading a posting on the "Talking about the guide" page called "Who wants my email address?".

Oh, that's correct; I gave up on that place, I believe.

Gee, thank you. I don't know, I must be the strangest kid on the planet for liking her so much.
I did see DoctorMO there, so I thought I'd check it out...

Do you know anything about the new daytime version of the Weakest Link in America. (I'm english btw). I heard a rumour that George Gray will present the American version in the daytime, with Anne in the evening?
If you do know what I mean, is George Gray the same person that did Junkyard Wars (which was also nicked from our Scrapheap Challenge)?

I have not heard of a daytime Weakest Link or the man at all, though I have heard of Junkyard Wars several times from friends that watch it INSTEAD of my show (they must come on at the same time). I'd like to say I'm up-to-date on all the latest Link news, but if you saw this on a website, please direct me to it.
I was horrified last week.. a friend of mine told me of a rumor that Link had been cancelled.. that had better not be true and I haven't heard that from anyone else. I just think she was trying to be mean that day.

I saw it on Ceefax (BBC version of teletext), it seemed to suggest that George Gray is a famous actor/comedian(?) who was going to carry on with the show's mean style. It definately said that Anne will continue to do the evening show. As for Weakest Link vs Scrapheap (or Junkyard wars), I must confess I'm addicted to Scrapheap.

I see. I'll check out the news and what not. Link in the daytime! That would be excellent. Thank you; I will try to be the best ACE that I can be.
