I got totally p1ssed with Edward The Bonobos consistent, continued insulting, putting down, and disparging of 95% of my posts and comments so I stopped using the site or even lurking and I haven't missed it.

I might come back at some point but not for the next week at least as I will out of PC contact.

I don't know if you don't still sometimes lurk 3Dots, but in case you do, you might think of coming back as he's found a new target now. And I'm sick to the back teeth of his snidy modus operendi. I recently had the temerity to speak out about the subject of Halal methods of slaughter. Apparently I'm running the risk of attracting facists., just because they happen to choose that issue to whip up hatred. Of course it didn't matter one jot that I based my reasoning on rational argument of hard biology. Apparently Islam is a no no. in terms of criticism. He he's like a dog with a bone about it. It's one passive aggressive dig after another.

I'm going to do my best to just ignore his posts from now on. Then he can find another target.

I sometimes lurk.

It's just Muslims that are allowed to kill animals like that but also Jews - kosher meat. Different sides of the same coin.

Unfortunately, it's not a case of ignoring him if he comes.

I did see him starting a thread on MP's expenses and saying we'd do it wouldn't we. Well, no some of us have morals but I refuse to get involved with anything that could get him going. Having asked someone else about him they are of a similar opinion having met him.

At the moment there isn't anything I particularly want to contribute to on the site.

What I love about you is that you are utterly straight as a die about things. I know exactly where I am even if I disagree. I get the same from Gif in serious debate threads.

Yes I can find myself getting sucked into things here sometimes...contexts and the ground can shift subtly, and before I know it I'm somewhere I don't want to be.

Yes I've done a bit of googling now and it appears Kosher is very similar. So I make no distinction.

As you know threads quickly get complicated, particularly if people are less than direct.

And yes I'll continue to post here as a safety valve.

Sometimes always being honest is bad especially in Real Life.

I know some people on H2G2 create a persona which is not what they are like i.e. Hooloovoo(to an extent!)

I can't be bothered...I like being me overall.
