after having read it though i was wondering, is it true NTL are selling to telewest in december and cutting lots of jobs, also have they made any plans since the last time i enquired (about a year ago), to go further south because being a telewest customer is pants!

I might be the same one, there aren't many about. Which site was it?

The ntl/telewest thing has been rumoured for years now - no definite plans. Sometimes it's ntl that will buy telewest, sometimes that telewest will buy ntl.

I don't really know.

And I don't work for ntl any more either.

yeah i know its a pretty old rumour but the latest id heard was this december, mind you i heard the same thing last year lol personally i wish NTL would by telewest out as i think mostly they offer a better service! will have to wait and see i suppose

That's strange cos most ntl customers think telewest offer a better service.

to an extent i believe telewest does but the 1 thing we want NTL beats us hands down! if we had internet access i believe telewest would be better than NTL considering everything else it offers (i have yet to find a better talktime deal with ANYONE), we have 1 chatsite, yoome2, this costs £4.99pm, and believe me is utter , whereas, unless its recently gone up, NTL have basic internet access to many sites for £7.50

im sure the tv channels are the same as is or at least similiar, our interactive, but we would like internet access!
