Hiya, thanks for the compliment, I don't quite know where to start. I'm based in Manchester UK, but originally from Wales. Married with three children and assorted grandkids. I'm into rock music, motorbikes, Superbike racing, fantasy novels (as if you couldn't guess)and wildlife of both kinds.

Usually all this is on my own space, but I've just come back from holiday and haven't had chance to update yet.

What about you?

Well, I'm originally from Baltimore, Maryland (USA), but I've been studying in college in Jerusalem, Israel for the past two years. I'm nineteen and also a great fan of fantasy/sci-fi novels--which, by the way, it is very cool of you to be interested in. The rock music and motorbikes also add an interesting twist. smiley - smiley
I like to write (mostly sci-fi/fantasy, but really just about anything), draw, sing, and act--I'm one of those artsy types. Right now I'm working on an English degree (irony of ironies, I've come to a foreign country to major in English) in the hopes of being an English teacher and pursuing my writing career.
I have never been to England before, much to my regret, but I have a few friends from London and Manchester.Would you happen to know the Sallon family? (Highly unlikely, but I thought I'd give it a try.) smiley - smiley

Charmed - I'm sure

Sorry, I don't know anyone by that name. Whereabouts in Manchester do they live? I'm just outside the northern outskirts, not far from a town called Bolton, famous for being the home of the inventor of the Spinning Jenny amongst other things. I work for the National Health Service, my job is a sort of half-way house between IT and Admin, I design electronic forms & stuff as well as managing the secretarial staff of the Community Clinical Services.

How did you manage to get to study in Israel? Is it some form of scholarship?
