Hi there, haven't been around much and just had two weeks off work.
Went to Canberra for 3 dyas, was questacon, Art Gallery, National Museum, was very impressed and then we had 5 days in Adaminaby looking for the snow. Kids had a wonderful time.

We are all well, now! But in the scheme of things an upset toddler tummy and a cold and sinus infection are pretty minor.
The National Museum is even a great place for 2yo's. We went there to see Playschool live on stage and then had lunch outside. After the littlies had run off the excess energy we took them downstairs and they created cyber cars and houses (with a lot of help) and then they got to see their creations on a big screen with 3d glasses. They all loved it and there were a few tantrums when it was time to leave (thankfully not full blown).
Shame you had to look for the snow since I know it snowed in the mountains overnight - don't know about Adaminaby though. Our excitement for the school holidays was a bus ride into the city and then some rides on the merry-go-round and then a bus ride back home. Well, it was exciting for the kids

We saw the merry go round, but my kids are toooo big and won't go on ut any more, so I can't go either, shame.

It's a beautiful Merry-go-round, isn't it? It was almost shut down due to the insurance problems. That would have been a great shame - have you ever heard of anyone being hurt on a Merry-go-round?
