Well, you know, I used to have the "Always remember me on this computer" option checked on my previous work computer, so I never needed to remember the password, and now that I've gone into training in another department I forgot it altogether.
Aw well.. I'll just send a request for them to send the password and UserID to me again.

BUt then again, maybe not. It's been a nightmare to be stranded with no chance of leaving messages to people like I realy should have done, and I've been too lazy (as I've said) to get the ID info back from the Italics.

You know, GB, I get that alot. For some reason, people that know me have a tendency to recognise me no matter what name I go by. Not that I usually change my handles online or anything, it just seems that I have a way that is easily recognisable, or something.. I dunno. I never got the hang of it, really.

I'm tired today. I knew it was a mistake to sit and watch tv til 2 am this morning. Especially since I had to go to work today (even though it's a bank holiday).

Well i'm off due to everyone still being on exams but i am completely bored and cant actually seem to stay up later than 11:30...rubbish or what!

i've been here a year now and i've only changed my user name twice...although adding alot of extra bits to the end...but its on MSN i change my name every day so i start talking at people and they are like...ok who are you...or....think i'm someone else which can be fun at times

Well, it's better that you can't stay up late if you're really bored, unless me. I stayed up just because I was bored and didn't feel like I was tired. I pay the price for that today.

When I signed up for an H2G2 account I signed up as Lost in Scotland, and I haven't changed yet (since LiS is just a TLA of my handle).
In previous chats, I've changed handles a couple of times. I actually started out as Ford Prefect (do we recognise that name, perhaps?) and after that my handles have had more of a Fantasy theme to them, like Kheldar and KuReshtin. But in here, I am and will always be Lost...

No, I'm not the H2G2 Kheldar. H2G2 Kheldar is from The Netherlands. I'm Swedish, remember? I used the handle Kheldar in another chat room but when I got here, I thought Lost in Scotland was more suitable. As I know how frustrating it can be to have two or more people competing for the same handle online, I would never challenge Kheldar for the honours of that name as he claimed it first. Common Netiquette, you know.

yes that is bugging...i've been trying to find the Ford Prefect i was talking to baout him being a dead ringer for Authur!! and i've been looking through the hundreds that there are and havent found one yet

Isn't it rather irritating that people that sign up for sites, where they can expect lots and lots of people to choose names that has a theme to them, chooses names that are the most commonly used name, and then refuse to change it when they get asked to, since there's already 200 Ford Prefect's around in the H2G2 community?
And especially if the two persons with the same handle are in the same forum, chatting about the same subject and to make maters even more confusing, disagrees with ech other on that specific subject....

Well, that's true. I find that everyone at meetings tend to call me "Lost", cause it's easier than to call me LiS or something. BUt then again, I'm usually the only Lost person at the H2G2 meetings.
