I hope you are enjoying yourself here. I am an Assistant Community Editor, (ACE), one of a group of volunteers who mooch about introducing newcomers to the site, offering help and generally making nuisances of ourselves
Many of us are still mourning the sudden passing of Douglas Adams, the wonderfully mad genius who inspired this incredible place. If you wish to leave a message of condolence, please visit his personal page at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A5932
If you need a little more help finding your way around, please visit http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A537932, which has links to various interesting and informational places at h2g2
Also, feel free to drop by my page http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U167550 any time to chat or ask a question
um.. what do you typically terminate, anyway?

Hello, Taliesin,
Thanks for the welcome. It's very reassuring to be 'touched' by someone 'on the guide'. I've just had the pleasure of reading other replies to a couple of postings I made earlier. I'm already starting to get a real sense of community!
I'll take your offer of seeking some information: I am interested in creating some meaningful Guide entries, as indicated in my original journal entry. Would you recommend that I try a few 'wing stretches' in my journal, or just go for broke and submit an article for peer review?
As to what I terminate. I'm lately to the name and I was thinking of if more in the sense of Roundley: a punctuation mark at the end of something. But I'll keep thinking about it.
:o)
