Memory of an Epiphany
When I was in school and first read the line "What is so rare as a day in June" I recall thinking "Well it's a little warm for my taste, but to each his own." In June of 1975 I stood in Kensington Gardens on a beautiful cool-but-sunny kind of day and was struck speechless by a realization: he wasn't talking about Texas!
