Well I got here from the July meet page somehow I think, and noticed you're going to take history at university, and seeing as how I will be too I thought I'd drop in.
Currently deciding between Bristol and UCL myself.

Not History, but English. I almost considered History, though. I've decided on UCL as it will be a big change from my current way of life and that's part of what University life should be, in my opinion. Plus, UCL's English Department is comparatively small (75/yr) - I think History isn't that big either.
If you want to chat about things - particularly if you decide to accept UCL's offer and are thinking about accomodation choices, or if you just want to talk! 
And in any event, if you do eventually go to UCL, do drop me a line and we can meet up for a pint!
