Hello, I see you're now editor of my ITV entry. I was wondering how you were getting along with it? I said to Smiley Ben that I would like to make some changes to it, and was wondering if and how I could.

Also, given that they are now on to the third generic look, and virtually done away with regional on-screen identities altogether (and HTV and LWT are now gone for good, it would seem), I'd like to add a paragraph, or even a section on that.

This is my masterpiece, but I want to polish it!

OK. Usually I'd go back to the Italics and ask their advice, but it would appear to me that it isn't going to be a problem with a masterpiece on this scale to add a couple of paragraphs. I am looking after the Entry on the understanding that we were awaiting the Granada-Carlton business. Now it needs finishing, and I will aim to make significant progress at the weekend.

Regarding the changes, you can make a new entry with the amendments and details of where you'd like them put. Then tell me where it is and I'll work them in.

BTW, I have alerted the Moderators to the original copy of the entry - an unfortunate typo in the link for Yorkshire Television resulted in a link to an Adult site - I hope you understand that I had to do this, editing the entry to fix the link (the middle dot should be a hyphen) should do the trick if it gets hidden.
