Hi, FF! I just noticed that I haven't talked to anyone on here over a week, especially since I haven't really been on the site much lately, so I thought I'd leave you message.
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope you and your family are holding up okay.
In happier news, how are your bunnies doing?


I've been really exited lately, because this July, I'm going to Minneapolis to go to a jazz workshop thingy. My sister lives in Minneapolis and works at this music school, and this summer they're having these music 'camps' (though they aren't literally camps, they just use the word) and they are like a week long session of classes or whatever. And I'm going to the jazz camp, and I audition and I get put with a group of kids that are all about the same level, so we're sort of like a jazz ensemble....And then when it's over, all the different groups perform at this jazz club downtown. It should be pretty cool.

Wow! That's pretty exciting. Make sure you write a big, detailed journal entry on it when you get back!

My bunnies are not too bad. I hadn't seen them because I've been at my grandfathers since the funeral but I'm home now and they seem to be doing well. I haven't really talked to anyone on here either. I've only been on twice in the last few weeks and all I've done is read backlog. I won't be on too much in the near future because I'm moving this weekend. Which is probably a horrible idea and will be very stressful but I'll manage.

Where are you moving to?

I'm moving to Toronto. It's about and hour and a half drive away to the exact place. I'm moving in with my cousin and his girlfriend... and their cat... and we're taking in my other cousins two cats. So in all there will be 2 bunnies, 2 kittens, 1 cat and 3 people in a little apartment... Crowded!

Will the bunnies be safe from the cats?

The real question is will the cats be safe from the bunnies!

Bunnies are social animals and so are obsessed with hierarchy. They will want to let the cats know who top bunny is. I'll have to prevent them from mounting that cats to show dominance probably.
They can also be very agressive and have nails as sharp as a cats (that don't retract). Luckily my bunnies are not agressive, but they are both very bossy and demanding. Two of the cats I don't know all that well and the other one will either be afraid of the bunnies or agressive. We don't think it's too likely she will fall in love with them. She's been abused and has behavioural problems.

We are going to take it very slowly and introduce the cats and rabbits over a few months to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. It'll really depend on the personality of all involved.
