Hi!
Good to see you.
I have been having fun when I can although the workmare seems to have invaded my world too Still hopefully there will be plenty of time for fun too!
This will amuse you - I have been challanged by a friend to learn to do the Times crossword within 3 months - they are going to help me learn - but for someone as practiced at alternative typology as I am this could be interesting - even when I get the right word I have the propensity to spell it differently!
Is Mrs Ugi enjoying her new job? Am I right in thinking you may well have exams soon?
* lines up plenty of 's for both of us *

three months is about how long it would take mee too
Yes I do indeed have xams and infact I took one lot in Nov & have the next in March. So far, since Christmas, I have had only one weekend - the rest have been spent doing past exam papers. You can imagine how
and
I feel right now, with 6 weeks or so to go. Still, they will pass eventually. We are going away in May so that is something to look forward to
I seem to have woken up today with a cold so that doesn't help either.
Mrs Ugi is fine, but having to work quite late quite often . We now stay in town during the week and have our little house for w'ends, which cuts down the travelling but we're still both quite tired.
Did you manage to get a flat in the end? I remember you were looking.
Anyway, must get on. Catch up with you soon.

Now I am not one to shy away form a challange but I am starting to think that being able to do one in three months time is somewhat over ambitious. I need some help!
I am glad to hear the end of the exams are in sight - I am sure you will do well and that all your hard work will pay off
Where are you going for your holidays?
How do you and Mrs Ugi find only going home ofr weekends? I still have not really got the hang of it - I would rather be home more. Do you have your own place in Town? I still lodge in Brum - I think part of the problem is that it feels like someone leses space and not mine so its hard to relax. I find I sleep much better at home! The place I lodge has been havign work done on it recently which has meant that its been worse than ever - for example thie week the electrician and the plasterer were working until 11.30pm - in and out of all the rooms with the electric off everywhere except the kitchen - that made for a relaxing early evening not! I had been through quite a day at work too - you may have seen some stuff in the papers about my employers - big reorganisations so I had spent the day understanding them and then doing presentations including one to a group of 350 !
Still its all good fun in the end!
Happy studying and catch up with you soon

I'm sure you will manage it - I think I would take 3 months to do one crossword, rather than to learn to do them!! (you see, you said you were learning to do a crossword in 3 months! - just ignore me, that's the exam nonsense coming to the surface again!)
We have managed to get hold of a little one-bed-hutch in town, which is much better than staying in digs. It doesn't really feel like home and we always sleep better at weekends but at least it is space of our own.
In some ways I like going home at the weekends and staying in town in the week because it makes every weekend feel a bit like a holiday! I could do with less revision at the moment thou'!
Hope your projects and presentations are go well. I don't envy you giving a talk to 350!
Anyway, I must rush. I'll catch up with you soon.
Ugi

* giggles *
Its OK I got the joke! I am now however seriously doubting my ability to get one clue in three months let alone a whole cross word or the ability to do them. As well as the lessons a friend is giving me I am thinking I need some more help - like a dictoinay and the answers!
I know what you mean about going home at weekends making it feel like a holiday - I get stupidly excited about nights at the cottage! Next week I am going to be in London three nights - yet another place! I worked out that for the last three months I have only averaged 8 nights a month in my own bed! Also its not atypical now for me to sleep in a minimum of three beds per week. Sounds terrible put like that doesent it...
I found when I first started living away I stopped doing anything at weekends which meant I never stayed with friends etc but more normality is returning now.
Work continues to be manic but great - there are two two days meetings in London next week - both high level stuff and I am going to have to be on my bestest behaviour - always a real challange for me.
I am sure the revision is going well and at least the end is in sight now. I guess it will be really strange once you no longer have to do it - what will you do with the time?!?!?
* lines up a row of 's *
Have fun
