Are these the English pancake day type? Or something a bit more stodgy?

Can they be wheat and diary free?

Proper ones mate - thin, with either golden syrup or sugar and lemon juice... except I haven't got syrup or lemons. I'll have to make do with maple syrup. Not unpleasant, but not quite right.
