Ponderings

I think that the most interesting thing that I've discovered today so far, was while bouncing around the net, I came upon a news story about a guy who had accidently nailed his head to a plank of wood...?????
Surely you would sort of notice that you were attaching a piece of wood to your head with a nail - would you not??? How could you possibly avoid noticing this? Mind you, perhaps we should first look at the question of HOW you can achieve this remarkable feat of dexterity...
1) Place required wood on head.
2) Select method of attachment ie hammer and nails.
3) Hold nail in upright position, while balancing wood, and proceed to hit nail with hammer.
I can only conclude that this in itself must take a considerable amount of practice to carry out steps 1 through 3 alone - but to do this accidentally????
I must applaud this fine gentleman for a truly stunning achievement!
Ah well..... I suppose I have managed to walk into a set of traffic lights in broad daylight (while sober) and give myself mild concussion so I guess these things do happen....
