I should research this to impress you with my well rounded education {hehe} I will give it a shot with what I know off hand about nietzsche which is limited to him being a 19th centuary philosopher, making the Quote : "God is Dead and we killed him" and a few other tidbits. my thoughts on what he meant when he said " If you gaze for long into the abyss,the abyss also gazes into you" Is that he is using abyss as a metophor for evil/dispair and if you focus on these thoughts for long they will become a part of you. That you could become the very thing you try to transend.
Am I close? Or did the Bus leave without me?
