When was your star born ?

I have been on h2g2 for little over a week but have been usung this nick for couple of years.I normally do not chat much on line because og the large amount of rude people who are out there.I must say though since i have been on h2g2 i have been pleasantly suprised by the polite and intelligent people i have met. If you don't think it to personal tell me a little about your life in Glasgow. I would be glad to tell you about this side of the pond if you like. I believe you are about 6 or so hours ahead of my time zone but that is about all i know of your home without researching it. take care

Glasgow's quite a cool place. It's got a really cosmopolitan city centre, and it's only about a 30min drive to the hills.(best of both world, especially if you like wilderness camping )

Really nice restaurants, lots of art galleries, and there seems to be a new club opening up every week.
I share a flat with my friend in the southside.( and I'm a youthful 31 )
I'm a musician, singer/songwriter, and juggler,,,,,, clubs and fire, and when I'm not having fun entertaining, I work for an online auction site for the car manufactures.
I went to music college years ago, and it's still my passion.

Hope this gives you an idea of my life !

I appreciate the reply. I am a little older then you 43. I live on the coast of Conneticut in the town of Waterford. It is a small town about 25,000 90 miles north of New York City. We have a few places close by that you might have heard about one is Foxwoods casino which is the largest casino in the world about 10 miles down the road {fun place to visit all the major acts come here from musicians to comiedians.} I run a small landscape corporation to support my family 3 kids, 1 wife, 1 dog, 6 gerbials and 49 fish. I play guiter {though not for years for lack of time} and am not a half bad artist {mostly landscape but have dabbled in water color's} I used to do a lot of club hopping until my first child a little over a decade ago.
I have also done alot of backpacking and mountian climbing my favorite being Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. Glasgow sounds nice have fun at the barb e q.

how was your barbaque?

Bar-b-q was really good. The weather has been fantastic here, so we had a weekend in the garden. It was my dads 60th birthday, so it was a bit of a gathering !! Feeling a little fragile today. A work event last night with a free bar !

Did you have a good weekend ?

A happy Birthday to your dad we most be close in age my dad is 63. We had a long weekend here {memorial day} but very rainy one. We haven't had rain for over a month and then the holiday weekend comes and it rain's for 3 day's straight. Such is life.
