Getting along fine, indeed It's what we do best here. A common interest that brings and binds us all, but I am forgetting my manners, please excuse me.
Welcome to h2g2
Just thought I'd drop by and make you welcome to the site.
I am an ACE and it is part of our voluntary job to make new members welcome and provide any help if you so require it.
Should you wish to leave a messsage of condolences to Mr. Adam's family and friends at this sad time, could I point you to the relevant area of the Guide: (just click on this link below and it will transport you there directly)

If i can help in any way, don't hesitate to reply to me here or by clicking on my name and leaving a message on my space. Places to start may include the Welcome page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Welcome
My advise to you would be to dive in and browse around, and naturally feel free to post to any conversations you like, we are a friendly bunch after all
Oh and should you write an article, why not let me know and I'll read it and help you to get it noticed by the relevant people.
Nice meeting you and hope to see you around,

Hi Robin
Robin Posted May 24, 2001
morning B17, just a quick question. being a newbie to net type things, how do you get to those cool little pictures (smiley faces etc)
cheers
Hi Robin
Babel17 Posted May 25, 2001
Quite simple, me old mate.
Either click on one in a forum and it will take you to the page (or rightclick and 'open link in new window..')
or use this handy URL:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Smiley
or go to my page, and select it from the drop down list in one of the boxes on the right (second box, about 3rd in list, i think)
Voila, the Page on Smileys, and how to code them. Now, adding them as you type, then only appear in conversation posts. You cannot add them to Subjects or Titles, unless you embed them as part of GuideML, in an article.
Hope this helps
