Greetings WHW!
Thanks for stopping by. It's a pleasure to meet you!
Questions
Well, I live near Santa Barbara(Douglas Adams lived here) in California.
I'm a Californian native but lived in the UK for many years.
California is 8 hours behind your time.
I sing a lot of classical repertoire as a soprano. A lyric (soprano) is just a voice quality categorisation used to describe its character. Lyric sopranos usually express a lighter quality with clear diction, expressive texture and agile flow of musical phrases. Lyric sopranos are not the sopranos whose vocal force can blow barn doors down!
Most of my repertoire consists of Bach, Mozart, Handel, et al. These often are performed at music festivals and concerts with chamber orchestras and sometimes choruses. I perform as a guest soloist with different musical organisations.
I also sing as an onstage backing vocalist for a folk/rock performer when he goes on tour.
... are a bit robust fare for breakfast!
I actually enjoyed and a clementine this morning.
Are you new to h2g2, or have you been here as a researcher in the past?
I've been to Wales a few times. It's quite beautiful in the north!
See you soon!
