Yes, you're right, not very many people are aware of aebelskivers at all!
I had a Danish boyfriend many years back who was enamoured with the apple-y treats, so I painstakingly learned how to make them with his mother's kind tutelage.
My aebelskiver pan could use some attention, I reckon. I've not used it since I broke up with that boyfriend...
Have you noticed how aebelskivers/aebleskivers are interchangeably spelled ?
