Wow, I don't think i have ever actually talked to a real, live Finnish person before (though i have indulged in the national & sat on 's knee & had a sauna (when i lived in the middle east, i must be mad, 50° outside & i go for a sauna?)

*these things did not all happen at the same time*

That sauna thing doesn't really sound mad; it just sounds very, very Finnish. But if it makes you feel better, even I haven't sat on 's knee in a sauna sipping a . Hmm.. *wonders if that should be put on the to-do -list*

How on Earth did you find a sauna in the Middle East, anyway? And what kind of a sauna was it? What did you think of it (I know, Finns with their saunas.. sorry 'bout that )

Well, perhaps it doesn't always help; I'm actually working on a plan to go and try to find a person of whom I only know the first name, who lives in a foreign country and doesn't share a common language with me.
