It doesn't like being fiddled with. Now it hates me more.

Got a word that he lost his job yesterday - didn't get a word why though. That would mean that now I don't have any means of finding him again. Well, I was dumb enough to not give my phone number or anything. My bad, that one. *sigh*
I hate Mondays.

Well, it's tuesday for 5 minutes already... Haven't got any better.

I know, sweetie. I know. Well, my sister's plane is about to land any minute now so at least I'll get my pictures. Otherwise this day looks a lot like yesterday, with the added bonus in the form of a .

Oh. There should be a law against that.
On the brighter side, I've got tickets for Friday for The Movie.

Becerikli Posted Aug 3, 2005
And when I went to collect the tickets, I found out that I had forgotten the reservation number at home. This week is just filled with Mondays.

Eventually, got the tickets. And the materials to make my custom shirt for the event. So far I've managed to make the model letters for '42' and 'H2G2'. Only have taken an hour so far. I still need to make the letters for Don't Panic. I remember now why I hated crafts at school. I'm already scared to think of the mess when it's time to open the tube of textil colour.

Oh yes, very seriously. I decided against the model letters, though. Now the Don't Panic reads on the back. Handwritten. With big, friendly letters. It turned out quite alright.
If anyone asks, I'll say my nephew made it in kindergarten.

I can't say. Obviously they're not expecting a lot, they're starting with 12 copies (that covers the whole of Finland). The both big theatre complexes start with their biggest halls, though. They both have an Internet booking system and you can choose your own seats. That shows that the other theatre seems to have sold about a half of the capasity. The other one where I'm going (with Finland's biggest screen, 184,8 m2) is more difficult to say, their system is down at the moment. There are at least 70 people there, that's how many tickets they had sold on Tuesday when they started to sell the tickets (and when I booked mine).

Update: three hours before the movie, the other theatre has 210 seats left out of 461, and the bigger one has 390 seats left out of 703.

I see. No rush, not really. They wouldn't know what they're going to miss. I hope you'll enjoy the dolphines.

Back. Loved it! The dolphins were a bit of a surprise, though. I mean, they're not supposed to leave until book 4!
A few of my favourites were missing, though. Ford didn't get the construction foreman to lay down infront of the bulldozer, that was the very first part that got me to love the books half a lifetime ago. And, Arthur didn't teach Eddie how to make tea. And Marvin didn't wash his head at the Milliways.
On the other hand, when they introduced the Book, the song was from the original tv-series (and probably the radio series as well, I haven't heard the original but the Finnish version had the same tune). The translator especially earns credit, (s)he had used familiar terms from the books (like the Finnish version of Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal). Marvin was excellent!
No rush at the theatre, there were loads of seats left. Some people just don't know what's good for them.
