So the answer to a quiestion you asked many moons ago is yes- you can use leaf springs to make a crossbow!

Sorry, no 
Basically the four teams had to make arrow-firing devices to attach to their vehicles. Two made crossbows, one from leaf springs one from an old pair of skis, one made a harpoon style bungee-powered weapon, and one made an extremely crap spring powered device.

a Burton meet, cool. The question is, do I be lazy and ride over and not drink, or taker the train and drink?

Second one does, first one doesn't. First pub is 2 mins from railway station, second pub about 15mins.
