Well, hang over almost gone now! Why can't they make red wine that doesn;t give you hangovers? Mind you, I wasn;t that impressed with the one I had last night. Wasn;t quite what I usually like, but I guess if you don;t try, you won;t know!

No, no headache today Dunno how I manage it but i only seem to have alchohol in the house when I am on call and can;t really drink, now my evenings are my own again, nary a drop to be seen!

Hi Incog, yeah not too bad today, had a rotten last 5 days tho as had an abscess come up on one of my canines. Not helped as it is on one I had capped about a year ago (which is apparently why it has come up, some techy dental thing which causes it) so now I have to take nuclear strength antibiotics and have the nerve drilled out from the back on monday morning. Oh I am looking forward to that

Bit headachey but fine overall.
Nice quiet life at the moment apart from wanting to rip only son limb from limb for lying to me about handing in letters at school and doing his homework etc.

Snow? What's snow?
I live on the coastline between Portsdown Hill and the Solent.Across the Solent is the Isle of Wight and when there is snow in the vicinity it either all falls on the island or north of Portsdown Hill.We might see some sleet or frost or a very few flakes of snow but rarely does any snow actually lay.When it does it means that everywhere else is getting a lot more of it than we are as the most I've ever seen since moving here in 1966 is 4 inches and that was about 18 years ago when my eldest was 2.This was the last time a was built in our back garden and I have the photos to prove it.

14 eh? Ah, just learning to be an adult and all the skills that entails, like lieing through your teeth to all and any authority figures and thinking you are way more intelligent than them and that anyone over about 18 is ancient I remember it well!
I really miss the snow, but then I grew up in suffolk and lincolnshire and remember playing in 3 foot plus snow drifts, getting snow packed into my wellies so hard you couldn't take them off. Oh for childhood again !

You might not get snow but that must be a very scenic area you live in!

Wow! It's been a year since I last posted here.I must get about more.

Anyways I just dropped by to see how you are and to see how/what you were up to.

Trouble is that this past year I've had more work than in previous years(gotta get the eldest through Uni)so I've no time to stop and smell the roses.I've hardly spent any time here.Mind I'm finding it a less attractive venue with all the nasty spite,flaming and sheer unpleasantness that seems to have seeped into the place.

I think there are still places here that are untouched. AskH2G2 as become a general melting pot , kind of a common room at school/uni really which is obviously something that was needed but I agree we needed the Forum as well to take over from what AskH2G2 was. That and SHADOW and other things are still OK. I try to steer clear but the recent events made me feel like taking the varies peeps and banging their heads together. My, but I am so much more tolerant on here than in RL!

So hows it going other than work work work?

Sokay I suppose.I've enjoyed halfterm greatly.Very nice getting up late,going to bed late.I've also not rushed around doing catchup housework either like I usually do.I'll wait until Easter.
