Thanks for the welcome... it might sound silly, but I think I know now how my mother felt when Elvis died (it was the first time I'd ever seen her cry... kinda freaked me out at the time).

We are all so sorry about Douglas Adams.. and most of us online at H2G2 at the moment understands how you feel... It is good that in your time of need there is a place you can go for comfort... we will always be here for you... if you want us..

What about...
Greebo ate a doughnut fast
She didn't realise it was her last
Poor Greebo was so very sad
No doughnuts left in her bag
A tear or two dripped down her chin
And all researchers looked round at the din..
They sent her a big bag...full to the top
And Greebo's sniffling quickly stopped
Oh me is so happy...yummy scrummy
With all these doughnuts to put in my tummy...
