Mind Delay

Hi Mindreader
Here is a question about the mind. I have noticed lately a delay in my brains reactions to things. Its like my brain puts up a little "working" icon for a couple of millisecounds. I have been reading alot about NLP etc. so I am not sure if this is new or I have just noticed it. If I burn myself there seems to be a beat between knowing it and the pain kicking in. Or if I am looking for something I will catch something out of the corner of my eye and then a beat later my awake mind will catch up. Is this common? Is there someway of speeding things up. I would be very intreasted in hereing your thoughts on this.
I to am intreasted in the paranormal but they only evidence of anything even close to that I have direct experience of is, people turning round to look at me when I am looking at them, even if I am looking at the back of their head.
I would be curious to hear your thoughts on either of these matters.

Hi Ferral
Yes, I think the "mind delay" thing you've mtnioned is quite common - I certainly have similar experiences. On your second question, look out for a recent book by Dr Rupert Sheldrake - it's called something like "The Sense of Being Stared At". This is also a common phenomenon and does seem to be evidence of telepathy or something.
