Any ideas on what kind of character you'd like? Since you don't seem to be online at the same time we are (about 22:00 to 6:00 lately!) we should get you somewhere where you can do your own thing and just interact with the others when we're on at the same time.

Maybe not wrong at all. i think his name ought to be Edddie, but also sth. that makes him sound unique to all the other Edddies that haunt H2G2.

Yo, does not sound bad, but I think I might also be able to have some inofficial mission, e.g. regarder of the missoin for someone not known to anyone.

Now, where would you like to be positioned? We have the officers' mess, which is like a very good restaurant, then we have a non-coms' mess and last a plain old crew mess - although I think if you want to be the one in the crew mess, you'll have tentacles and be some kind of alien.

Well, I don't know *what* it is yet! The fun thing is letting the *people* know without the characters in the game ever finding out, Edddie can think about them, or talk to himself, but the others on the spaceship won't notice - though we behind the computers will!

If you've ever doen roleplaying or LARP, you'll know what I'm on about.

1) no smileys, please, just text
2) *put actions in asterisks like this*
3) thoughts are written like this </>
4) don't talk about the game or things we could do there IN the game, we have ALPHA-plan for that - F2130684?thread=11043725
5) don't move other people's characters about or put words in their mouth, but "random" people are ok to animate
6) please don't make dramatic changes suddenly (people suddenly attacking etc.) - leave it to Dmitri, he's sort of the game master - but do feel free to suggest it in ALPHA-plan!
7) unless he's a mindreader, your character cannot of course know people's thoughts or what is going on elsewhere, even if *you* do!
8) pay attention to the blog, as we are developing a story - you can ask us for summaries if it gets too much
9) Please be aware of where people and things are - we've had a few "accidents" with people being two places at once!
10) have fun!

Edddie? Have you even *looked* at the blog on Beta? You need to read the back story if you want to become part of it.

If you want to join in, please do so peacefully and stick to the rules - bombing the whole communications system is one of the biggest attacks you could have made, so your character has been removed by Dmitri. You'll find all the rest of us found a way in without resorting to violence. Read up on the back story, and then *we* will set you up with a small character who can be gradually developed - if that's too boring for you, I'm afraid you'll simply have to stick to Gefropo HQ, this is more a philosophical discourse than an action adventure.

I didn´t think that it´d be bad for you. I did read the blog. Maybe it doesn´t work like I thought. well, the small character sounds better than nothig.

It's ok - only Dmitri got quite upset, because he does run communications - I suggest getting back in touch with him, he now has a multiple chocie test he wants people to take first
