I have really been here all the time! Mostly reading without writing. I presume you are in UK. Here in Melbourne it is sunny and 28 deg. Forecast for New Year's Day is sunny and 36 deg!

You're correct, I am in the UK at the moment, as I've been visiting my family for the Christmas holiday. I'm due to fly back to my own home soon though, where it will be a bit warmer than this, the average day time temperature there ( in Lanzarote) is 22C in the winter and we'd have 30+ in the summer, so I envy you heat right now. Here, in the UK, its been both snowy last week and mild this one, but dreadfully grey and rainy, gloomy and windy.
