So many guide entries!

You have been busy! I just stumbled across your "Common Ash Tree" entry and liked it so much that I've put a link to it on my page. I had to telephone my brother and tell him about it because he's always said that ash trees are the most boring trees in the known universe - last into leaf and first out. He's changed his mind now! Thank you for that

Thank you, Salamander!
And thanks especially for referring readers of your home page to my ash tree entry - that's never happened to me before! I'm not sure if the sub-editor is completely finished with that version - it is due to appear on the front page some time (I hope soon). I'd love it if it was picked for one of Sri's wonderful pictures, but only one out of the daily five gets that, and I'll just have to wait and hope.
The number of entries I've done, though, makes me rather conscious of how many of them still need to be finished and polished and submitted to Peer Review. A lot of the list you see are still rather unfinished.
Anyway, thank you again. There are quite a few people around who are interested in the countryside and natural history: if you haven't seen them, have a look at the entries by Wazu about places and habitats in Shropshire. I hope that if I get my entries on the corncrake and the Burren into Peer Review in the next couple of weeks there will be plenty of researchers to comment.
