it is ok weekend
..bit nervous for diabetes check up for tuesday.
the hospital does not like when patients come for check up with the same doctor. eventho it proven that diabetes need the same doctor everytime. my offical doctor is writing her theasis and is away a lot. I told her pecifically that I have big difficulties with a different doctor. even my GP wrote them letter, but they do not even respect that.

sorry...I am nervous and and anoyed did not actualy want burden with this story. now I wrote I will send it anyway.

...last 7 yrs I have been celebrating Christmas in south of England with my sister who lives in community for special need kids. wondefull times with plays and turkey (my sister did a mr. bean one time. altho she never see tv, because there no tvs there).

No worries about moaning...which kind of diabetes is it? I ask because I have a bee in my bonnet about diabetes and cow's milk - I was once diagnosed as heading for diabetes 2 and came off cow's milk (soya and goat milk are fine - and goat's cheese is fine too) and it all cleared up within a year.

No wonder you're nervous. All hospital visits are nerve-wracking. I loathe hospitals...spent a lot of time in them when my husband was dying. You need the same doctor - you need someone you can rely on and trust. Strangers each time is even more un-nerving.

I found that particular hospital very disrespectful - even to the point of marking up the notes that the nurses should beware of me because I was very well informed!

The American cancer surgeon Bernie Siegel says that the people who insist on getting what they want (ie their own doctor) always have a better chance of recovery/remission because to know your own mind and act on it is a good boost for the immune system.

And Christmas with special needs kids - that would be very special as it would mean celebrating in the most simple way - and there's nothing better than that.

that is one thing, because my diabetes was discovered 5yrs ago at first they said did not know, because I was too young for 2, but tool old for 1. they said after while I had 1, but later they said that was not true. when they discovered my diabetes I was 45 kg (100lbs) so I could never had diabetes 1, because I would not have been alive.

diabetes 1 is when you are young and other is old age. I mix them up sometimes.

my diabetes was discovered very late, because of it I have complication to feet and eyes. my feet do not have any feeling and my eyes needed lasertreatments.

we are told that about one-thirds of young American youth have developed diabetes only during the last 2 to 3 decades due tolack of exercise and overeatin,particularly fat and fried foods.
since they happen to be type-2 diabetics why don't you kindly get information on the alternate therapies followed by different nations to prevent and control this nasty form of ill-health and start a discussion so that millions of people will be benefitted and thereby you will be serving the cause of health promotion?

Actually, Subham, you could look up all those things for yourself and help the 360 community by posting your results in the 360 Discussion Chamber. That's the place to start new discussion threads, rather than on an existing thread or on someone's personal space.

Great idea - but the idea of the community is that the community members do that kind of thing - that's why they post articles.

I do what articles I can but they are only to set the ball rolling. It's really up to you!

All you need to do is create an article from your personal space (and the preferences button is working now, so you can put your name up instead of just a number!). Start writing what you know and we can take it from there.

The way to draw people to your articles is to contribute to theirs with comments and questions - and then they will come back and chat to you.

btw. I am Dutch we have first "St Nicolas" on December the 5th so no happy Christmas wishes yet. some Dutch places give a fine to shops if they have Chistmas in windows before December the 5th.
