I hope Bryce (my writing prof) doesn't kill me, though. I left my floppy at school this morning, and I was supposed to email him the final draught of a dialogue tonight.

But I guess it's his fault, because I wanted to give it to him this morning, but he wouldn't take it.

My friend Mike and I have started a band called Lemniscate. In it, I play sax, bass, harmonica, percussion and backup vocals, and he plays guitar, mandolin, and lead vocals. We collaborate on lyrics. Had a great jam today before school. Played a bunch of blues stuff, then did a few lounge-funk tunes and threw in "All along the Watchtower" for good measure. And an hard-rock version of "Pick a Bale of Cotton" (my throat is still bleeding!). Made $1.71.

If we ever get some tracks cut onto CD, I'll share it with you.

I like just about all music, everything except heavy metal and screaming, but in particular jazz. Not too slow jazz, bluesy, though, lively stuff. Blues is alright though. I like songs in a minor key...they're so...frictional (I'm not sure if that's a word, and if it is it may not be what I mean...). I play clarinet, and I like just playing around with that. I do a fair bit of dancing, and when I listen to music, I can kinda see in my head the way I'd like to move to it. That sounds a bit .
