I wanted to say this in my journal but you've unsubbed.

The poem you posted made my Mother cry - she was so very touched and said the words were just perfect.

The Vicar said it was up to us what we chose for the service and we chose Peta's dragonfly story because that will be perfect for the children in attendance but my Mum did ask me to thank you for your words.

She has got the printed-out journal and keeping it in a dust-proof punched wallet in her special file.

I'm glad your Mum appreciated it, and the feelings behind it. It's a terrible thing, to be the ones who are left behind to mourn. Anything that helps us feel less alone is a good thing.

I honestly didn't realise I'd unsubbed hun. I did a bit of a clear-out of my convos list, and that must have got clicked by accident. I'll be subbed again once I've posted this.
